On 30 September 2003 Karen Williams, Hearing Officer in the Competition Commissioner's cabinet (European Commission) gave a talk about her career and experiences. 

The speaker was Karen Williams, one of the EC Competition Commissioner's hearing officers, who is responsible for ensuring that a company's right to a fair hearing is respected in any competition proceedings before the European Commission. Karen gave an interesting personal overview of her current role and experiences, as well as her previous career. The lunch was another success, with over 70 women attending, representing a wide range of professions.
